  • What types of pets do you care for?

    We specialize in not only caring for dogs and cats but are ready to care for a variety of pets, including horses, chickens, goats, reptiles, and birds. Please contact us to discuss your specific pet care needs.

  • How do you know Safe and Sound Pet Sitting is the right fit?

    At Safe and Sound Pet Sitting, we facilitate a comprehensive evaluation process to ascertain the compatibility between our services and your pet's needs. Prior to boarding or providing in home pet-sitting, we conduct a thorough interview. This session enables us to engage with your pet, ensuring mutual comfort and compatibility between all involved parties.

  • What happens during a pet sitting visit?

    We provide your pet with all their needs: feeding (as many times per day as they are accustomed to), fresh water with every meal, cleaning kennel or cat box, treats (if permitted), petting, play and exercise per your instructions. 

  • Do you offer pet sitting during holidays?

    Yes, we offer pet sitting services 24/7. 

  • How do you ensure my pet's safety and security?

    Our dedication to your pets is the same we show our pets. We'll never miss an appointment and we'll take any immediate action to ensure your pet is safe, healthy and satisfied. 


    We also have exstensive experience in helping pets under veterinary care. Giving medication or administering a special diet is one of our specialities. Consistent, accurate and always on time. 

  • How are emergencies handled?

    In the event of an emergency, we will first attempt to contact you directly. Our pet sitters are trained to handle various emergency situations and will take your pet to the vet if necessary, following the emergency care instructions you've provided.

  • How do I pay for services?

    We accept cash or checks. Payment details and schedules will be discussed during the initial consultation.

  • What happens when I come home?

    Welcome Home!! 

    At this time, you will be left with a "Welcome Home Notice" which will have your balance due, our phone number, and more. 


    When you arrive home, please call me (at least around the approx. time we agreed on) so I know that your four-legged family members are taken care of.
